Cassie Mangum
She is a proud mom to two little boys, an avid reader, and someone who is deeply passionate about learning and helping others grow. She has been a coach at Totality Fitness since 2021, and truly believes this gym and helping the members in it is her God-given mission in life.
Her heart is to help women become the strongest, healthiest versions of themselves — physically, mentally, and emotionally. She loves meeting with clients one-on-one, coaching workouts, personal training, educating members about nutrition, and yes… dancing whenever possible.
She strives to live out the gym’s motto of “More Than a Gym” every day — whether that means being a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, holding your baby so you can finish your workout, or praying for you during a difficult season.
She doesn’t just love what she does — she believes in it. And she’s honored to walk alongside every woman who walks through these doors.
Kerri East
Coach Kerri has been married to her husband Jason for 20 years and is a bonus mom to one. Kerri has called Simpson County home since 2003. When she’s not in the gym, she works full-time at Boswell Regional Center—a role she’s dedicated herself to for 22 years.
Kerri began her fitness journey at the gym in July 2021 and stepped into a coaching role in August 2022. Her passion comes from watching members grow stronger—physically and mentally—doing things they once thought were impossible. There’s nothing she loves more than that moment when it clicks and they realize, “I can do hard things.”
Outside the gym, you’ll find Kerri spending quality time with family, traveling, and continuing to cheer others on as they become the strongest versions of themselves—inside and out.
Casey Himmel
Coach Casey has been married for 17 years, has three amazing kids, and works as a nurse — but fitness has always been a huge part of her life. She’s loved sports and staying active for as long as she can remember, and she’s always chasing a better version of herself.
As a coach, her biggest goal is to help every member get the most out of every single rep and make each workout better than the last — more energy, more fun, and more results. She knows time is valuable, so when members leave her class, she wants them thinking: “That was the hardest… but BEST hour of my day.”
There’s nothing more rewarding to her than watching people hit goals and accomplish things they never thought they could. Helping others build confidence, strength, and belief in themselves is what drives her — and she’s proud to be part of their journey.
Josh Rusche
Josh Rusche is a family man, and believes whole heartedly in creating the best version of yourself, so that you can be the best for your family. He has two children, a five year old daughter, and a two year old son. He is married to his high school sweetheart, Cayla Rusche, who is a member of the gym as well. He is a follower of Jesus, and his favorite Bible verse is Luke 9:62. Josh is a graduate from the University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture. Joining the gym and being part of a team, with the same mission in mind, has been one of the best experiences. He is enthusiastic about expanding his knowledge in health and fitness, and is passionate about fostering a culture of discipline, goal-setting, and personal achievement.
Denise Hooks
Coach Denise is an accountability coach who loves working with clients and sharing the lessons she’s gained through both professional training and her own personal healing journey. Formerly a Hospice Social Worker, she is now a Private Wellness Coach with extensive credentials, including National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor, and Certified Lifestyle Medicine Coach.
She has been a proud member of Totality Fitness since May 2022. Outside the gym, she’s a devoted wife, mom to two amazing sons, and a proud grandmother to four grandchildren and four bonus grands. The renewed strength in her body and mind — along with the restored energy to fully enjoy these relationships and friendships — has been truly life-giving.
Brandi Bankston
Mother of 3 | Wife to Jeremy for 20 years | Magee born & raised
Brandi is a transformational coach at Totality Fitness who believes strength is built from the inside out. What started as a passion for native plants and their medicinal benefits turned into a purpose-driven approach to coaching women toward real, lasting health.
She loves family time, traveling, and helping women crush their health goals—especially by pushing them in the gym to discover just how strong they really are
If you’re ready to be challenged, empowered, and supported every step of the way, Coach Brandi is in your corner.
Caitlin Sullivan
Coach Caitlin hopes that anyone who’s talked with her knows just how much she loves Jesus and how undeservingly blessed she is by Him. She’s been married to her awesome husband for 16 years, and together they’re raising two incredible kids — a competitive and sweet 7-year-old boy and a feisty 4-year-old little diva girl.
She enjoys just about anything outdoors but has a special love for horseback riding. And while many people may not know this, she’s also a nurse!
In the gym, she’s all about a strong plank, good form, and heavy weights. Nothing fires her up more than watching a member doubt herself, push through, and accomplish something she never thought she could.
Jenny Pepper
Jenny Pepper has been married to Mike for 27 years. They have 2 adult children and one daughter in law. She moved 10 years ago to Simpson County.
After a rewarding career as a school teacher, Jenny retired, allowing her to focus on passions that promote her well-being.
She began her fitness journey in her 20’s with the aim of maintaining her health. Now, as she embraces the benefits of aging gracefully, she understands how our current habits impact our future well-being.
When she isn’t at the gym, Jenny’s often volunteering at Overflow Church or assisting Mike on their blueberry farm. In her free time, she loves cooking, reading, and traveling.
